Rated 5 out of 5 by tanglefoot from nemisis Received a sample to try and used them for Fluke fishing, fluke went crazy on them. Tail action is amazing but the fish eat the tails off. Once tail is gone bait needs to be replaced

Rated 4 out of 5 by john d from REALLY catches fish! On most days, 4" Nemesis in Firetiger stomps a mudhole in the spotties of San Diego back bay like no other bait. However, the miserably weak tail and fragile-thin body are no match for the voracious feeding habits of the bass; can go through 2-3 bags in a morning of furious action. I'll fish it effectively after the tail is gone ( after a few fish), but soon my jighead comes back nude after a bite, the entire bait gone. Also, you're constantly re-rigging it trying to make it stay on the hook. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wolfhunter from Nemesis catches Lake Trout The Nemesis caught my eye and thought I would try it for vertical jigging for Lake Trout. Strung it up on a 3/4 oz jig head and sent it down. It worked... Lake Trout bit and held on long enough for me to set the hook. I've caught several Laker's with the Nemesis body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smlblk from Great bait for summer flounder (fluke) Early season shallow water. These on a 3/0 hook teaser tied about a foot above a bucktail are great. In the late summer the same result only bigger baits and heavier bucktails when the fish are in deep water.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Gus D from Thin tail tears off during the cast The 4” nemesis has great action but it is very delicate and sometimes tears off during the cast. The website doesn’t mention that this item is meant for fresh water use. I called customer service and explained that I’m a saltwater angler amd they explained that this would also work in saltwater but also said that the material used isn’t as durable. Berkley should list this item for freshwater use. I lost 6 tails during the cast. I wouldn’t buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MADster from Would have been great if Berkley was clear It would have been nice if Betkley was clear about its description of the nemesis. I didn't know it was freshwater gulp until I received it. I needed saltwater gulp nemesis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by slkfslk from Great Bait I love the Nemesis. The action on the tail is fantastic, the fish cannot resist it. I use it for fluke fishing in the northeast. The tails get ripped off sometimes, but that's fishing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dabad from Great for Fluke, Bad for your wallet Flukes get crazy about the Nemesis but one hit from a Seabass or searobin bye bye Nemesis tail. The tail rips off so easily and when it hapens you Flukes stop hitting it.
