Deadly with nothing more than the weight of the hook to allow it to settle slowly. One of the most effective bass baits I've ever used.

Not so fat, fat worms
Was so excited to see what was described as a "fat sand worm".
This product is very thin. Very difficult to keep a #8 thin mosquito hook in this bait. Not sure where the "fat" part comes in, but will be the last time I purchase this product.

gulp saltwater
Buy these for pink fin perch in the lower umpqua river. These are as good as sand shrimp and you can catch 6 perch on one worm. Last year a salmon went for one. Had to release him. To many fins.

2" sandworm rocks!
Switched over to the 2" sandworm in bloody color. California Surfperch nails em. Quite effective compared to the standard motor oil grubs.

They Work
The motor oil grubs weren't working, switched over to fat sand worms, perch started biting every cast. I like the 4" for surf perch best.
