Rated 4 out of 5 by bluegillted from need more colors I've used the jerkshads or their earlier versions for years. They are some of the best soft plastic jerkbaits on the market. The problem is they tend to eliminate colors that I like. We were at a tournament on the Patomic in September and Rainbow trout was hot, unfortunately it's no longer offered

Rated 4 out of 5 by GaryTheBestFisherman from Awesome action The action of these if second to none. Great weight for castability and making great jerking/ darting action. Better than Super Flukes in my opinion. Super flukes, when jerked fast, jump out of the water too easily. These will jump when you want them to, or will stay 1-3' under water and dart back and forth like I usually want without popping up out of the water. I've caught a lot of fish on these. I "Texspose" my hook... meaning bury it in the back of the lure. The hook point doesn't like to stay buried in there too long and I find that the back gets torn up easily rendering the bait useless after a while. If you cast and lob it into the water, it holds up. But if you skip it under docks and trees, the bait will fall apart in the above mentioned manner. That said, it still remains a great bait with fantastic action. The eyes dont stay on for too long, but they made a good effort to make them to last. I dont think any 3d jerk shad type bait has eyes that last very long. I do like that theyre there for at least a while. I wish the material was more durable. I also wish that the colors wouldnt be discontinued. When you fins a bait that you like, it sucks when your color gets discontinued. I'm happy that these last two remaining colors are very natural... kinda universal to many bodies fo water. I'm a firm believer that the action trumps color, so I can make these colors work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fish1 from Ling cod killer Bought the 5" anchovy for a rock fish trip out of Berkley, CA. Since we had to fish in strong winds and current, it makes fishing hard. I rigged it up on a live bait rig and caught 8 shaker ling cods and 1 keeper ling cod. I even tipped on shrimp flies and worked good for rock cod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by POC fanatic from Best value soft plastic bait. I have been using Berkely Power Bait for two years in the Gulf Coast area. Fish hit it hard, yet the bait holds up for multiple catches. Because of it's durability and effectiveness, I feel it is the best value for your money. Secretly, I hope very few people read this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tmac from Great Bait The jerk shad is the most lifelike lure in the soft jerk bait catagory. With this and the power bait scent it is a killer bait.
