Works Great For Me.
I fish mostly for Trout with lures in rivers and streams in the New England area. I have always had problems with my line twisting and ending up with a birds nest in my reel. I have tried everything from new and expensive reels to just about every size and brand of line on the market. They all seem to work for a while, but sooner or later "BINGO" another birds nest.
Then I tried Berkley Solutions, So Far So good, I fished the better part of last summer without any unwanted issues. I don't know why this line is getting bad reviews but what I do know is I 'am going to buy some more.

my expereince with berkley spinning solutions
I have been using this product for a little over a week now and i have had absolutely no problems with it.since the moment i spooled it onto my reel I have had none of the problems associated with mono line.This line is low profile enough to get clear water coho and steelhead to bite and strong enough to land them. Not once did I have any spooling out or knot slips or birdsnests which if you have expreienced any one of those than you know how frustrating it can be. As far as the abrasion resistance well ive been bottom bouncing gravel river beds and have noticed very little wear on the line which means its going to be a while before i have to re-line my pole. This product is a very smart buy, anything thats 6 dollars and zero hassle is my kind of deal. after using this product I realized I was paying alot of money for lines that are just as good or worse.

My go to mono.
As an opinion from truly an amateur or weekend warrior (my wife let's me go a lot), I must say when I am tieing mono, I pick up the Berkley solutions for my spinning tackle. When spooled correctly and conditioned this line outlasts most of the competition. I'm serious folks the knot strength is great, there is very little memory if at all, plus you cannot beat the price in comparison. Whether its a bass hittin on 17lb er the crappie bitten on 4lb test I can tell the difference from structure to to grass to fish. No joke.

The best mono line
I bought this line a while ago. Its better than the trilen . Has no memory and its tough never lost a bass on this stuff. I got a 10 lb northern on 8 lb test berkley solutions.

A great spinning line for walleyes and smallmouth
I used this line for walleye and smallmouth all of last year and am respooling again this year with it as well. I was very pleased with the diameter of the 10# and the knot and lift strength. It has solid hook setting power and the abrasion resistance is good without being stiff. I like it! Oh and it comes in the right size spools.

Top notch line
I highly recommend this line for all spinning applications. As a guide and professional angler my paycheck depends on the line I use. If you're looking for a line with no memory and great abrasion resistance this is it.

Worst line I ever used
I have this line on one rod. It has tangled, knotted, broken, and ended up in birds nests more than I would have believed to be possible with an experienced fisherman. Come on- birdsnests on a spinning reel - Give me a break! It also gets terribleabrasions . I am changing to anything but this. The cheapest monafilament line is better than this stuff.

The best mono ever.
I changed all of my spinning & casting rods over to Berkley Solutions mid summer last year after trying one spool. The Solutions lived up to its name. Very low to no memory, great hook sets and low stretch. Good knot trying and holding strength. Good sized spool fro under six bucks. You can't go wrong with this line. I highly recommend.
