Rated 5 out of 5 by The_owl from Great for Walleye Fishing I own four rods with metered line - two Accurist Flip n Switch baitcasters for bottom bouncing live bait and two med rods withOUT line counters (got them cheap) for crankbaits. Both applications are simplified with the metered braid. It's tough, last, and to-date, the colors have not faded at all. I will be purchasing more of this line in the 10 and 20 lbs diameters - I can't say enough good things about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandy13 from Many uses for this line, no matter the weight! I use Berkley FireLine for beading necklaces, bracelets and earrings. It is very strong, rarely tangles, can be easily cut, and won't fray, split or break. Even the lighter weight is sufficient to keep beads in place. Because it doesn't break, the heavier weight can easily be used for heavy beads and silver ornaments. Beaded Christmas Tree ornaments can be made with Berkley FireLine as well as hanging ornaments for windows, mobiles, and other craft pieces. I use the "smoke" color for most jewelry because it blends in better with nearly everything. With lighter color, white, clear beads, and crystals, I use the "crystal" color of Fireline. Although this line is fairly expensive, it is worth the money. I do not have to worry that anything will come apart, break, or have issues, even if people misuse their jewelry (although I never recommend that people abuse their creations).
