Rated 5 out of 5 by JuMP from 2pc 5'6" Purchased this rod about a month ago to be my new ultralight crappie/bream rod- I do not intend to fish trout with this rod. Paired with Zebco 33 gold micro trigger. Love the soft fiberglass action when casting- love the sensitivity when landing a fish; and let's face it- the green is cool. 23 black crappie between 0.8 & 1.3 Lb on first outing and several nice bluegills since w/ no trouble. I can't speak for its specialized powerbait compatibility- but if you are hunting around for a fun/cool new rod for an ultralight setup- I don't thinks you can go wrong here. Tight lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pacman5005 from Good well balanced rod I bought this rod a week ago to replace an ultra light trout rod I had broken ,the first thing I noticed when I used this rod was the balance between a sensitive tip and good back bone as well,, the rod castes well with lighter lures and had enough strength to withstand the biggest trout of my life!! I landed this 25in brown with a 20inch girth weighing close to 10lbs,,,

Rated 2 out of 5 by The Doc from Broke at tip after about 20 uses Had 2 of the 6 foot rods, and loved them - that is until they both broke just below the tip. The first broke when, while trout fishing with dough bait, I hooked a catfish of approx. 4.5 lbs and was close to shore. Did not lose the fish. This was when rod was out of warranty period and had been used about 25 times. The second snapped near the tip while fighting to get a trout of approx. 5 lb out of the weeds. It had been used approx. 15 - 20 times. I have since stopped using these rods, though I used to think highly of them because of the action and the "feel of the fish" they imparted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CameronC from Attached my Abu Garcia Cardinal STX10 on and the screw on cork piece snapped in half instantly, looking at it further the reel barely had enough room to fit in the reel slot. I read another review saying the same happened to them with a different reel. Pretty disappointed after all the great reviews i have came across. Maybe i just got a bad rod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JTP1116 from Great Rod for other than Trout I purchased this 7 foot light rod at the beginning of 2014 and for Crappie fishing, I troll with it, cast into brush and jig with it. I use 1/8 to 1/4 jigs with a grub and crappie nibblets, I can feel every movement around my bait and when trolling I feel the weed, limbs, etc. This has become one of first and best crappie rods that I have ever owned. I wish they would produce a Med power rod like this in the 7 foot range for Walleye. I fish Lake Powell, Oahe in SD, Devils Lake in ND and Tongue Res in Mt. - JTP1116

Rated 5 out of 5 by JayM from Suprisingly great rod. Just as described this rod casts dough baits smoothly with distance. It also casts lures well too. It's well balanced and feels great in your hands. I think it may be a good Kok rod but will have to try it out to be sure. I almost hesitated buying this because it looked a bit tacky in the pictures. In person it looks better and has grown on me in just a couple weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DonUtah from Utlra lights are not durable I have 2 of these in ultra light, both have broke between the 3rd and 2nd from the end eyelets, 1 I was pulling the line out (drag was loose) and the line stuck and the rod snapped, the other I turned in the boat and jammed the tip and it snapped, I would not complain but they didnt last 2 weeks on either one and I have multiple eagle claw and ugly stik ultra lights that have endured far more abuse than this and NONE of them broke Do not buy this not worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hunter9636 from Great Rod! I bought this rod about two years ago. It is is my go to rod for trout & panfish. I love how sensitive the rod is. The rod has great backbone and is overall a great rod. I occasionally use this rod for small largemouth bass at my local pond.
