Rated 5 out of 5 by Bait4bears from Everything you need These rod holders were recommended by our son. I purchased two a couple months back for my wife and me. They were easy to install in the boat and they are very easy to use. We traded or and installed additional bases in other locations in the boat. He used the other style base in his boat. Haven't found a style of rod that won't work in them yet. We especially like the easy rod insertion and removal as well as the height and rotation adjustments for different fishing situations. Great Product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jjh61225 from These work great I have had these on my last 2 kayaks and I am buying two more to mount on my new kayak. I like that, unlike most other rod holders, these hold my short handled ultra-light poles with no problem. The locking mechanism is fool-proof and works great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by fishaholic from rod holder design is great but they need improvement .the flimsy screw holding the spring and the spring itself need improvement. I have lost the lever bar several times just by it falling out and had to buy a whole new holder .I would like to be able to just get parts

Rated 1 out of 5 by SirPaulus from Confusing locking systemkj Very sturdy plastic and a plus with the flush mounting bracket (which is why I bought this) but the locking mechanisim is confusing as to how it works and no diagram to go by.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JWP58 from Snatch & Yank I have 6 of these on my boat now, 2 in the bow @ 90 deg, 2 off the rear side @ 90 deg & 2 off the stern straight back. I use lead line out the back at a low angle the 4 out the sides I run at about 45 deg angle up. All are on a 1" rail had to drill out the holes a bit to get ¼" bolts with nylon nuts on the rail. 5 plus years never lost a pole. Bang Bang Bang Snatch Yank & Net

Rated 5 out of 5 by WayneZ from Universal holder Bought to supplement two standard Berkley holders I've used for years. Originals have held up to many hours of use but are awkward to use with long handled rods. Quick set design works better and fits mounts used for original holders. I plan to add more mounts so I can use both styles as needed.
