Trilene®100% Fluoro Professional Grade™ is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable line....Superb. I have been using this line for 3 years for walleye and everything else. I use to use transition and would if I did not feel this was a better line in strength. I went down 2lb in test just because of it's durability and the confidence in knowing what the line IS capable of. I pulled the boat over with 8lb in a river current. I read other reviews on the line and the way it shot off the spool? Fluorocarbon when spooled snugly and used... (will not fly off the spool) after using it a while and pulling in fish.....! I have fished with others (not to mention which are not as durable). As far as visibility? it truly disappears completely in the water. I will continue to purchase this line in 2000 yd spools. Thanks Berkley

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great line for long Jevity I run a guide service out of Toledo Ohio, Eries Edge Guide Service and we use .Trilene®100% Fluoro Professional Grade™ Berkley - Trilene®100% Fluoro Professional Grade™. It has very little memory,Great castability and hold up very well to our zebra mussels and tough grasses. We make our nightcrawler harnesses with great success. The 8 pound is awesome for drop shotting with great not strength low stretch for the sensitive bite that occurs. We give it two thumbs up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fluorocarbon I'm a guide on the tidal Potomac and have been using Trilene Professional Grade Fluorocarbon for years. Other than top water and crank baits I have it on all my baitcaster rigs. It holds knots very well and does not shatter on hard hook sets like some other brands. It resists abrasion very well. I was using 10 # for a long time but have switched to 8# because it allows my soft plastic baits to sink with a more natural action. Works great for spinnerbaits too. Try it you will like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product! Could use some improvement. Berkley has done a good job on making their Fluoro better throughout the years. I use the 15 lbs,17lbs and 20lbs. Berkleys Fluoro is strong supple and very castable! my only problem with the line is it does not have extreme strength in heavy cover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keep line from jumping off reel (corrected) What I intended to say was after spooling the line on your reel, take the spool off the reel and secure the end of the line to the spool. Put the spool in hot water (not boiling) for ten minutes. The line will conform to the new spool size. The water should be hot enought that you wouldn't want your fingers in it for very long. Don't put the whole reel in the hot weter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You've come a long way baby. I came back to fishing in July and picked up my old Zebco 33 with momofilament line. Later I purchased a float fishing tube, a bait-caster, and some fluorocarbon line to go with it. The super-lines of 15 years ago looked like kite string and couldn't be used unless you were fishing in chocolate milk, so I was somewhat skeptical. To say that I like this line is an understatement. It is simply awesome. I use it with Texas Rigs and Drop Shot set ups. I fish primarily with plastics using a very slow, finesse approach. I can feel every rock, every branch, and whether I'm in weeds, on a sand, or mud bottom. More importantly I feel every bite. Whole new ball game with this stuff. I am willing to trade a little stiffness for the tons of other advantages this line offers. You have to make sure your knots are clean and precise; if you kink the line in a knot it has a tendency to weaken.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So-So The line is quite thick but that is to be expected. I wouldn't recommend this item for bass anglers who are casting a lot. It may fit other techniques of fishing better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great line and great value I have used this line with great success. It casts great, and also has great knot strength. I have literally got my bait stuck in rocks and caught some broken off line that was caught on rocks several times back to back, and didn't even bother to retie inbetween ad my knot held up well and had no issues with abrasion resistance. For what it's worth, I use the uni knot with fluorocarbon, it seems to be the best. The line itself appears quite invisible as well, and I think it's a great value line as well. The only negative of this line is that it is a little thicker when compared to some other 15lb lines, but that can be adjusted by dropping down a size if needed or using the new Trilene Fluorocarbon XL.
