Rated 5 out of 5 by Bravo36 from I like it. I started using FireLine several years ago because that is what my favorite fishing guide used on his client tackle (I prefer to use my own). I had just returned from Brazil and the Suffix brand line I used there didn't stand up to the hard usage and constant casting involved in fishing for peacock bass. On a trip with Brad to San Antonio Bay, Texas, for speckled trout and redfish, I was having maddening roll backs and stops using the other line due to little tags of fuzz on the line. I re-spooled with Berkley FireLine from a 1500" spool he had on board and the problems ceased. I have been using FireLine ever since with minimal casting problems. I prefer Tracer color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by defuser311 from Excellent abrasion resistance! I recently decided to purchase the new Berkeley Tracer Fused line in 20 lb test. It performed incredibly during two days of fishing in rocks and timber for largemouth and smallmouth. The line held its colors and still looks like new!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JobyC from I like the tracer for tracks ng depth and distance A very good line. Matched against other braid it's a moderate to good line. Fades from UV a little faster but is very useful for specific applications. When you need to know the amount of line your using and as a guide it helps to watch and see if drag is set properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by fastbreak from FIRELINE ON 8 DIFFERENT REELS I have used Fireline on 8 different reels and I am extremely happy with all the results. 1st time trying the "TRACER" FIRELINE. 8# on a Mitchell reel & 10# on a Shakesphere reel.. Both lines went on perfectly... Excited to see how they work in the field.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rockport Fred from Tracer for the Jetties I use Berkley Fireline Fused Tracer for fishing the Jetties at Port Aransas Tx. The five foot color changes allows me to fish off the top of the ever present boulders without dropping in between and loosing expensive tackle.
