Rated 5 out of 5 by Phookem1 from Great action, great colors! Bought 3 Wild Thang 8.5 baits from closeout bin at WalMart. Didn't need any more crank baits but thought what the heck. Started throwing it next morning and the bass were choking it! Got more than my money's worth. Since have purchased additional Wild Thang baits and have started buying the Dredger for deeper fishing. Sold on Berkley hardbaits! Thanks Berkley for making GREAT products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brian Bickhaus from Wild Thang will win Tournaments ! It is late January, but already Spring in South Georgia. We are blessed to have some of the best impoundments in the country. I bought a handful of various Square Bills to try, including The Wild Thing. I tested them all thoroughly. The only Bass I caught were all on the Perch colored Wild Thang. Twice I watched as Bass grabbed the lure in front of the boat with the lure choke full of weeds. I've never seen that before in my 50 years of Bass fishing. That day the Wild Thang caught me a 7, a 5, two 4's, two 3's, and three Two's. The biggest 5 would place me in 90% of any Bass Tournament held in this country. This lure is a WINNER. TIP: This lure has a TON of action. This is not a turn and burn lure! Use a steady, medium pace retrieve at most!

Rated 3 out of 5 by FishFriendly from Havent used it yet... Can't complain much when its free... but if I can I would say poor craftsmanship. Overall the body is nice and looks fancy. But the bill it sits on is poor quality. I understand that the shape of the bill is unique, but the edges of the bill are rough and somewhat sharp. If I were to lose this lure had I had purchased it because of the sharp edges of the bill cutting my line, I would be upset. I think attention to those little details would be great. But still over all its nothing to complain much about especially when it is free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MartyMar from When others baits won't work, wild thang prevailed Received this hard bait when I bought a casting rod from Berkley. Had an opportunity to use this a few days ago, on my first cast I got a bass!! The way it moves, it gets the fish attention!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jimmy N from Very erratic action! Pulled these on lead in 13-16 feet of water, they have a great action to them! Caught several walleyes my first time using this crank bait.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Simon from Another Hit For Berkley! Picked up one of the smallest size in perch finish to try. Casts a mile, lots of action on a slow to medium retrieve. Doesn't seem to run well at faster speeds. Largemouth bass were all over it right after a cold front. Didn't realize that it suspends - nice! Another great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lebo32 from Awesome bait I live in Louisiana and Toledo Bend right now is at a stage where there's not a good set pattern so for the early spawned bass that are leaving beds they are at anywhere from 8 to 15 feet and the wild thang is perfect for that
