Rated 5 out of 5 by C G Reviews from Bang for the Buck I have 11 of the new kind of lightning rods now, all purchased in the last two weeks. As long as the action fits your needs, these rods are the best deal going in bass fishing right now. Super light, sensitive, great features, very comfortable handles, and killer good looks. I have multiple sizes and actions. They are missing a swimbait and larger lure model, so I got the EMotion in the size I needed, or I would have got another LR. More on my upcoming review site soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tracker65 from one of the best rods i own i have been using Berkley rods for over twenty year. I still have my first Berkley phaser rod and still works as good as it did the day it was given to me. I have 4 lightning rods that I use as my main casting rods ranging from med to heavy 6,6 to med action 6 ft rods, love them all. I love the sensitivity an backbone of this rod. it can handle any bate I have tied on from deep diver crank bait to 6 inch worm with no weight. I will be buying more of these rods. BURKLEY. NOT JUST A FISHING ROD BUT A WAY OF LIFE

Rated 5 out of 5 by Musky40 from I’ve been buying Lightning Rods since they 1st came on the market and still have every rod with no failure. The rods are strong, light weight and comfortable to fish all day. You can’t beat the price, especially for the quality. I’ve spent almost 10 times as much on other rods, but always go back to my lightning rod

Rated 5 out of 5 by Greg721 from Awesome Stick 1st...Great quality. 2nd...Great Price. 3rd...Great rod for fishing from kayak, canoe or inflatable. The short length is easy to handle while seated and lets you easily flip up under trees and cover. It loads great with 1/4 oz jig/grubs or 3/8 to 1/2 oz small cranks. It loads easy and has plenty of backbone to pull fish from cover.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Reviewer from Dissapointed This was my first Berkley rod, I've heard good things about it so I thought I'd give it a try. The first day I went fishing was pretty good, it was very sensitive and launched lures like a rocket, so I had a good feeling about it. I got snagged up on a tree and, applying little pressure, the rod snapped perfectly in half, the lure still in the tree. I had a good feeling about the rod, but the fact that the medium action couldn't stand up to a twig dissapoints, and I found out the rod was hollow inside. The only reason I'm not rating it as a 1 is because it has some good qualities, but just not durable.
