Gulp! Minnow is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware new(2017-2018) formulation I've use the gulp minnow almost exclusively for years. Now, for some as yet unknown reason, Berkley changes the formulation. Now these things are so soft that if you're really, really lucky, they'll hold up for more than one or two strikes. Currently they're prone to falling off the hook after a single strike. Berkley, you had the best soft-bait on the market. Why mess with perfection? Please address this issue and return a more durable bait or we'll walk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will catch ANYTHING! I love drop-shotting 2-1/2 inch and 3 inch Gulp! Minnows. They'll catch fish when nothing else will. And they will catch ANYTHING! Just today, I caught smallmouth bass, bluegills, rock bass, chain pickerel and largemouth bass. And a couple of days ago, I even caught a channel catfish with one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size and the scent helps My name is Gary and I fish around Sarasota, FL. This bait is perfect for this environment. Snook, red fish and mangrove snapper love this bait with an 1/8 ounce jig head. The scent, colors and size seem to be good to be used year around. When we have water above 70 degrees I usually work the jig by keeping my rod tip parallel to the water and give two quick jerks and then let it fall. Please keep a tight line because they love to pick it up when the bait is dropping. When the water is cooler I cast the bait, let it sink to the water and keep my rod tip perpendicular (or close to it) to the water while popping it a couple of times and then letting it fall. This bait is definitely a "go-to" bait in my arsenal. Both fish in the attached pictures were caught with this bait. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best artificial bait I have ever used My wife and I only bank fish for panfish, and I cannot explain the looks we get when we walk to the car with a bunch of nice crappies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as live bait, but less expensive Took to Canada in June 2015. Caught as many, if not more than others using live minnows. The walleye held the bait for a long time before hook set. Trust me that I experimented and this bait is the real deal. Dont waste moneyy on Gulp Alive. This regular Gulp minnow will catch you many fish.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from lil' gems I have been fishing the Gulp Minnows for a long time - the initial packages of these lil' gems were awestome but the last few packs of minnows are tearing very easy and not holding onto to even barbed hooks on the shaft of the hook. Maybe 9-12 casts and the minnows are falling off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bait! Fished the Ohio River on the down side of Meldahl Dam. Tipped a 5/8 ounce jig with the 3" Firetiger, caught around 30 Sauger/Walleye and only used two baits all day. Forgot the package in my friend's boat, the following day he did just as well and only used one bait all day, I'm a believer!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprise ! I got this product hoping I could a lure that could get hard to get crappie to bite. WOW ! Was I ever surprised, I've fished for years and so what the Crappie Nibbles could do. I had been a live minnow fishermen, not anymore. And it's cleaner and you can keep it with you all the time. Once you decide how big a profile you need, well I use Nibbles for small profiles. But use Gulp Minnow for a bigger profile. Profile, I'm talking about the size of the bait.
