Rated 5 out of 5 by anglerone from Wow ! In mid November I bought the #5 Bad Shad in the Gilly color. Used it for the first time Saturday 12/12/15. We had a spell of warm weather, but water temp was 52 degrees. On my 2nd or 3rd cast I got an 8 lb largemouth. Unbelievable, since it was the first time using it. I knew a David Fritts designed bait would be great & I was right. Wow !

Rated 2 out of 5 by Old fishing dog from Good action but--- I purchased a few Bad Shads because I was impressed by the reviews. The first one I tied on seemed to have very good action but ran a little to the right. I tuned the line tie a small amount and cast it out and it ran a lot to the left. Tweaked it a very small amount back to the right. Next cast, ran way back to the right. To make a long story short, it took about 10 minutes of tweaking to get it to track straight! These lures are way too finicky, very easy to bump the line tie and cause the bait to veer to the left or right, and very hard to tweak back straight. I've been fishing with crank baits most of my life. ( I'm 67 ) and these are the hardest to tune lures I have ever fished. Save your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Basslure1 from Great Quality in a Crankbait; The Berkley Bad Shad is a quality crankbait from its paint job to its hardwear. A great choice for winter time cranking. You cannot go wrong by throwing this crankbait. It was used for a 5th place finish on the recent FLW Tournament Lake Sam Rayburn, TX.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommy Ray from It's all about the rattle !! I used the #7 Bad Shad trolling for Walleye and saugers on the Mississippi river last weekend. The water was dirty and rattle in lure made all the difference. The color choices and the lure action are great !

Rated 5 out of 5 by Deacon from Great casting lure Love using these for casting rock points and shorelines!! Better weight distribution offers longer casts as compared to similar size flickershads! Plus have very similar action and hooks!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ferd from Great Bait! This si a super crankbait. I use this to catch largemouthand spotted bass around my area. The fish really seem to hit it when they won't hit anything else. Thanks Berkley

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wildkountreeboy from Awesome lure!! This lure when i first purchased it, i thought it might be something nice to try. After failed attempts with live bait (worms), i decided to tie this lure to my line and give it a go. Ever since that day i have caught a good amount of bass. This is an extremely east lure to cast and does magical in dirty water. I recommend this to any angler at any skill level. Great product.
