The Need for Stealth!
As an In-Shore and Offshore Charter Captain, I rely on stealth and durability of Berkley's ProSpec 100% Fluoro Leader Material. Whether I am stalking leader shy Tuna offshore or fishing the docks along the Indian River Lagoon in Stuart Florida, Berkley Fluoro Carbon Leader Material has never let me or my clients down with it's performance!

Great Line and Knot Tying Too
This is the third time I have bought this Berkley ProSpec 100% Fluoro Leader Material. A Pacific Northwest Oregon Guide Brandon Glass was a guest speaker at a NW Steelheaders Chapter meeting. He talked about only using professional grade gear and line for his clients. He told me what line to get for my leaders.
We use the 40 pound test for leader behind a Pro-Troll PC11-700 30" long leader to a 3.5 spinner and it produces for us every time. I also feel confident this leader will produce Chinook Salmon for us every season we fish Buoy 10 and up river on the Columbia River. One thing I noticed is another brand similar I could not tie a good knot and gave up and ordered more the Berkley ProSpec 40 pound test leader.

Good enough for tarpon, good enough for me!
I switched from Vanish to ProSpec last Summer and couldn't be happier. I find the abrasion resistance and diameter superior to most leader materials. I use the 20-30 lb inshore and the 60-80lb for beach tarpon.

TOUGH AND EASY TO TIE TO BRAID
I have tried many types of leader both mono and fluorocarbon with various results. This the best of the lot. Have used 20 to 60 lbs but 40Lb fits my needs perfectly. The latest test was on a 36 in Snook caught from a pier. Oh yeah, he went under the pier and around the piling, the leader was shot but the fish was on the dock. A quick release and it was time to tie on new leader.

We use Berkley Pro-Spec Fluorocarbon Leaders on our charter boat since the product provides good visual separation between the bait, the sinker and line. It is also stiff enough that rigs do not get tangled as they normally do when fishing line is used as a leader.

Big Game line from
Thin, tough and invisable
The great lakes have become much clearer over the past 10 years making presentation critical. Fluoro has become a necessity to consistently put fish
in the box. The teeth on our Salmon make toughness a must. ProSpec meets
all the requirements for success.
