Thanks for sticking with the Choppos over the years, and really appreciate you being honest about what you’re seeing with the newer ones.

Sorry to hear the tails have been snapping that quickly—that’s definitely not the experience we want, especially when it’s your go-to bait. Feedback like this (and having those broken lures available for review) is really helpful.

Glad to hear you still enjoy using them overall, and we appreciate you being part of the Berkley community.

    Well made

Choppo looks to be well made with a great profile. Haven't used it yet because it's winter but from experience this looks to be very promising. I'm hoping it can handle the larger fish without bending. Time will tell but it looks good enough to eat.

Expanded Colors... Saltwater hooks.... what could be better?!

There are some colors I would have liked in the standard freshwater Choppo that I saw offered in the saltwater versions. At first, my intention was to swap out the hooks, but I changed my mind after receiving them, as I fish in brackish water anyway... so why not just leave them on? The gold color is hot on brackish waters in many of the lures I already fished, so getting one of my already favorite topwater lures in that color was a no-brainer. And the Red Head was already a favorite inshore saltwater color, so that was a must have as well.

Thanks for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear one of your Choppers didn’t hold up—especially after just one fish. That’s not the experience we want for our customers. We’re glad to hear the other one is performing well, and we’d love the chance to make this right.
