Bred from the relentless pursuit of intertwining scent dispersion and technique driven shapes, the Berkley PowerBait® MaxScent Flux-Gill combines profile, innovation, and versatility to dominate pressured waters and entice the weariest bass. Scent dispersion is at the heart of the Flux-Gill, driving the unique flow through or 'flux' design that allows for water to pass through the body of the bait constantly dispersing fresh scent. Featuring Berkley's exclusive PowerBait® MaxScent formula, this proven scent-release technology expands the strike zone and draws fish in and to deliver bites other baits won't.

  • Innovative design: unique flow through "Flux" rooted design, drives the utmost scent dispersion and quivering action.
  • Scent Matters: Berkley's exclusive PowerBait® MaxScent formula adds the technology of scent release to the PowerBait® formula – designed, tested and proven on the water to expand the strike zone, attract fish and deliver bites other baits won't.
  • Versatile Design: Allows the Flux-Gill to be utilized across multiple techniques such as mid-strolling, free-rigging, or dead sticking.
  • Versatile forage imitation: The Flux-Gill imitates both panfish and baitfish forage bases across both profile and colorways.

Flux Gill first cast = bass

First cast with the Flux Gill on a finesse jig of my dock landed a spotted bass. First day with the Flux Gill on caught them neko rigged skipping docks as well. This one is a winner!

    * 5.3 inch Flux Gill is great for skipping docks.

    *Green Pumpkin color worked everywhere

*June Bug color for night fishing

*Eager to try blue gill color for the spawn

    Great new product

Tried these out on the end of the season up north in the mid west. The bass took after them all. Hit after hit on them. Many ways to rig these to give the bass a option. Hats off to berkley on this one

Caught a whopper using 4/0 hook, pegged weighted Texas rig. The Flux-Gill is all Berkley says it is!!!

    Outstanding bait!

I began my pre-spawn fishing for largemouth bass using the Dark Gill Flux Gill (3.5"). I had an assortment of rods rigged for the trip (Lake Lucas, Asheboro, NC) and was getting skunked. I bought the flux Gill because I saw Matt Stefan using it and decided to practice with it because nothing was biting. Within minutes I caught a 2lb largemouth and on the way back to the dock I flipped it into a lay down and caught a 6lb 10 Oz. Largemouth. I spoke to other fisherman at the dock and they weren't catching anything.

Since then I have thrown this bait into almost every lay down I've come across and caught several 3, 4 and 5 lb largemouth.

I am a big zoom Fluke guy but the flux Gill has become my favorite now. It gets bit and it catches big. Great job Berkley!
