I plan on using this pole for bass,pike and muskies

These rods are a must for carp fishing. Probably, cat fishing also?

I thought i would try three of these because I have used several other brands, including Abu Garcia rods. I like the Lightening Rods because of the long cork handles and the stiff action.

I own several Abu Garcia reels and I intend on purchaseing 3 more of the Lightening Rods because at the paylakes, 3 is the maximum a person can use ....and I like these rods better than Abu Garcia or the Diawa RG 22.

I purchased two of the lightning rods because the price was great. I got one for me and one for my son. The rods were great rods except for the guides. We started noticing that our fishing line was getting shredded by something, and found out that it was the guides doing it. It didn’t matter if it was mono or fluro they did the same thing on either one. I took a section of the shredded line with me along with the rods back to Academy and showed them what the guides were doing to the line. Academy refunded my money and I purchased two Falcon rods. We loved the lightning rods and would have purchased more of them because of the price, but those guides need to be replaced by Berkley.
