    First Trip

I bought the Gulp! Alive! Crickets for my grandaughters for their first fishing trip with the new rods and reels I had bought them. They both caught sunfish! Even my daughter caught a sunfish, by mistake, while showing the girls how to cast with their new spinning reels.

Priceless! What more could you ask for?

    Look real

Tried them but had no bites. Surprised

They really do look lifelike—surprised they didn’t get any attention, especially on a private lake! Sometimes the bite just shuts off. Let us know the conditions and we can suggest a few other options to try next time.

    They work

Used these in lieu of live bait on a remote Northern MN lake for bluegill and crappie. They also took some incidental bass, SM and LM. Was using them naked on a 1/32 oz jig/bobber, and also behind a bubble on a #16 fly hook at sundown. They worked as well as live bait under a bobber (kid rigged). Going forward I would use a baitholder style hook as they got knocked off pretty easily. Only complaint is the jar leaks nasty smelling juice all over the place if not kept upright.
