As a charter Captain in Rhode Island, I am always using live bunker for striped bass.
We tested out the 10inch Raw and shad the first day by casting them and retrieving the chop block at different speeds. It didn't matter how fast you retrieved; the Striped Bass just inhaled them. We did end up cutting off the back hook, this didn't matter on the way the lure performed.
The true test was with my kids, they cannot really cast to well without someone getting a hook in them, So I decided to try to slow troll the chop blocks behind the boat with a lead core set up. We hands down, smoked the fleet today catching one bass after another.
Don't pass up this lure for bass !!

Absolutely a snook magnet.. I got pics an videos with a dultonw on Instagram.. nasty work on the bait. I provided a pic with the bait im reviewing. You can't b even see where it is. He destroyed an 8in chop
