    Falls apart

    While I have owned this product for several years, it had been used sparingly. Used it once this past week to weigh a flounder for my great nephew. Put it in the tackle bag. When I grasped the handle to take it out, it came apart. The nut had come off and I am left with this! Won’t be buying another, that is for sure! Not sure I can get it back together with how deeply seated the threaded post is.

    Does ok, but is fragile

    We used this for weighing several big wipers, and found quickly that it simply does not hold them. These fish are 6-9 pounds, and the grip would not keep closed when they flopped. I used the same lip grip without the scale to grab them, used this one for weighing only. So far it's holding up, but does seem fragile, so it'll be used for weighing only.

    It broke on the second day fishing in Canada. I am very disappointed in it.
