With some 25lb braided line this combo is perfect for carp and catfish. My only problem is when I tighten my drag the rod doesn't really keep the tension when casted.

Decent rod and reel
Rod flexes well enough, reel is fairly smooth. Doesn't cast as well as I had hoped, but prespooled line is extremely twisted. Will hopefully improve with some use or fresh line.
