So far so good
I hope it holds up in the long run, I have 2 now and also have the same version of ugly sticks.
This is the real I put on it it's a conventional style casting reel buy LEWS.i think I have a good set up.

Great rod for the price
There are tons of catfishing rods coming out everyday, and many are over $100. But I’ve been using these rods for years and have never had a problem with them. Pair with an Abu 6000, I’ll continue to use these rods verses the over priced ones.
