    Great little rod.

    Gid day. I have 5 Berkley Lightning rods and I love them.

    I fish a lot. This little light action rod in my picture is bullet proof. I use it creek fishing for Northern Ontario native brook trout. I’ve crawled though the nastiest bush with this rod trying to get to perfect little spots on creeks.

    I thought I’d treat my self to a substantial rod upgrade so I bought a brand new Fenwick trout series rod. Well that didn’t last long going where I fish. Fenwick did warranty the rod but I won’t be taking it again where my good lil’lightning rod will go.

    Lightning rod

    This is a replacement for exact same rod that I broke in a truck door, Loved it then love it now. Cost almost twice as much as my old one(bought 5 years ago) but I think worth it compared to similar rods.

    Same situation 6 years later

    I originally purchased two of these 5'6 rods 6 years ago. Some how I've managed to keep one alive however one of them was replaced 3 times by the shop I bought them from. It continues to amaze me that the lightening rod still has reviews of it breaking with out a lot of pressure.

    Also back then I did email berkley several times and got no where with a resolution. So today I was finally considering another one till I seen recent reviews of this rod still having problems snapping in the same general area mine did.

    Why won't you fix this repeated problem smh
